Remove a background in one step
Cutting a subject out by hand takes a steady mouse and a lot of patience, especially around hair and fur. This tool uses an AI model trained to tell the subject of a photo from what is behind it, so the cut-out is done for you — people, products, animals, cars and logos all work.
How to use it
- Drop your photo. The background is removed straight away.
- Pick a new background. Leave it transparent, choose a colour (white is ideal for product listings and ID photos), blur the original for a portrait look, or add a picture of your own.
- Compare. Drag across the picture to see the original underneath.
- Download. The result is saved at the full size of your photo.
Tips for a clean cut-out
- A clear subject that stands out from the background gives the sharpest edges.
- Choose “Best” quality for hair, fur and fine detail; “Fast” downloads less and suits simple product shots.
- Save as PNG or WebP to keep the transparency — JPG cannot store it and fills it with white.
